Julia's Birthday Inspiration

Julia's 4th birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, and I am starting to plan for her party.
We typically go small with inviting only family.
I was perusing Pinterest, looking at Alice in Wonderland themes.
I really like the idea of an English tea party.
I love the fanciness, and the flowers.
Seeing some lighted floral garlands, I realized that I had the tools to make it myself.
I have a box full of faux flowers, and a plain strand of lights.
I had to trim around the center of the flowers to make the holes a tad bigger, but it worked out just fine. Just a little more time consuming.

I think they turned out really well! I also love that I didn't have to buy a thing, and could use up some supplies that have been sitting around!
After my daughter's birthday, I think these will look great in her room!

Fall Family Photos

We had the pleasure of having our photos taken by the lovely Kristin Leigh!
I had found out about her through a blog I follow, Dixie Delights.

Anywho, I noticed she had an opening, and snatched it up.
Our photos were taken on her farm. She has goats, horses, and chickens.
I am jealous!

During the shoot she really took her time, and captured the silliness of my little ones!
Very patient!

Now to figure out which one to use for our Christmas card!

On Friday my mom and kiddos went over to Stone Mountain to check out the Country Living Fair.
It was a nice Fall afternoon, and we my mom and I had fun checking out the different vendors.

Family Fun at Rock Ranch

This past weekend we headed to the Rock Ranch in The Rock, GA.
I had read that they would be having a hot air balloon festival, and I thought that sounded fantastic.
The weather was beautiful that day, and the kids had such a fantastic time!
Our chariot trailer to the fun!

Zip lines over the lake.

Paddle boats.

Train that goes around the grounds.

Our view from the balloon.

Really the only photo that turned out of the family in the balloon. Lol.

We did so much in such a short amount of time. We didn't get to do everything the ranch offers. So I am sure we will be back! :)
