Fiasco

Yesterday we lost Fiasco. He was a super fun pet, who always greeted us with a wagging tail and smile.
He had a cancerous tumor that was on his back. We had known about it a few months ago, but it seemed to not change or do anything. We kind of forgot about it until two days ago. He couldn't stand straight. The next morning he couldn't walk.
The vet said there was nothing they could do, and that the most humane option was to put him to sleep.
I can't believe he is gone. I really thought we had more time with him. We just lost Mesa (the greyhound on the far left of our Christmas card photo) 6 months ago from bone cancer. So this death was pretty difficult (not that any death is easy...).
Greyhounds are awesome dogs, and we were so lucky to have him in our lives.
Fiasco, you will be missed.
